Experienced Diesel Mechanic

Job Description:

Barber Trucking is looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team! If you're experienced with diesel engines, trailer repairs, and preventative maintenance—we want to talk to you!

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair trucks and trailers
• Perform schedule-based maintenance
• Keep accurate parts inventory and service records
• Assist drivers with maintenance-related issues

What We're Looking For:

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time well
• Cummins experience (preferred)
• Experience with diesel repair
• CDL or welding experience? Even better!

Physical & Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift 100 lbs, crawl under equipment, and work in all weather
• Shop & yard-based work with occasional local travel (5%)
